Manage and develop business intelligence and analytics solutions, including collaboration with Information Services on the database architecture and data integrity. Identify business requirements that affect the enterprise architecture and provide solutions that integrate into the overall architectural vision and strategy. Responsible for all front office management reporting. Collaborate with leaders from various lines of business to understand and gather reporting requirements, evaluate reporting capabilities, and develop reporting and dashboards in PowerBI. Recommend innovative approaches to analytical investigations and perform modeling of data sources and flows; work with data management staff to define an operational framework that will define, develop and implement policies and security frameworks to ensure precise and secure delivery of knowledge and information. Perform data analysis in order to identify trends in root causes and adjust reporting as needed. Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities. Identify and define process and data improvements. Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis. Distribute weekly and monthly reporting to the management team, leadership team, and staff. Assist with ad-hoc business operations projects as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in any STEM field and HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association) Certification in Finance or Managed Care, plus 5 yrs. exp. in Healthcare or Managed Care Revenue Cycle Data Analysis or Reporting (data analytics; dash boarding; data manipulation; data platform development). 5 yrs. must include: 1) 2 yrs. exp. in healthcare revenue cycle or managed care reporting; 2) advanced experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, BI (Business Intelligence) tools, SQL and Excel; 3) demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and using relational databases; 4) demonstrated abilities in research and in troubleshooting and reporting data issues, including diagnosing and resolving errors in complex reports.
