HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN – MANAGED RESOURCES

Part-Time| On-Site| Human Resources Internship

To learn and participate in multiple aspects of the Human Resources functions within the Company – Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruitment, On-Boarding, and Training

DESCRIPTION
  • Assist in conducting benefit audits and ensure compliance with company benefit policies
  • Assist in employee file audits, including I-9s
  • Assist in maintaining employee files and keeping up to date and secure
  • Assist with applicant tracking, employee inquiries, and direct employees
  • Assist with processing new hire and termination paperwork
  • Assist with employee relations, employee events, and create publicity as needed
  • Assist in 401k eligibility audit, to endure accuracy and maintain current
  • Assist with employment verifications
  • Weekly HR Lesson and research assignments to include labor law and other related Human Resources topics

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Currently enrolled in a College Degree Program (Required)
  • Currently enrolled in an Internship Course to receive College Credit (Required)
  • 1+ year of prior work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High attention to detail, excellent follow up, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Outgoing personality, but professional
  • Strong research skills
